For a tenant doctor of your choice, you may book ahead, But for urgent appointments you may need to see another doctor. We do run an appointment system, but keep a few slots open to fit in with urgent problems. Emergency cases will have first priority.
You can make an appointment with the tenant doctor by phoning the surgery after 8am Monday-Saturday. It is advisable to allow a few days notice for non urgent and routine appointments. The forward bookings made for daily surgery are limited to ensure a reasonable number of times are available for urgent daily calls.
If you need to speak to the tenant doctor please arrange to book an appointment either face to face or if you are eligible a telephone consult (need to have been seen face to face in the last 12 months in our surgery).
If you require a prescription or a new referral please book an appointment, we don’t take phone messages to renew either unless you were here in to see a GP in the last 2 weeks.
We do not communicate via email with patients.
Home Visits are available for regular patients of the Practice in exceptional cases only and are subject to the tenant doctor’s availability. Please call early in the day so a visit can be organised. The tenant doctor usually sees the patient before or after surgery, or at lunch time (1-2pm). Standard Fee of $150.00 applies however it is at the tenant doctor’s discretion.
We endeavour to look after our patients are all times. When the surgery is closed, a doctor from National Home Tenant Doctors Service is available after 5pm weeknights, after 11am Saturdays and all day Sundays and public holidays for problems needing urgent medical attention. The after hours phone number is 13 74 25 (13 SICK).
24 Hour medical advice is also available by calling the GP Helpline on 1800 022 222.

All medical records are confidential and are securely stored in our computer system with password protection, out of the public’s reach. Your personal health information may be disclosed to other health professionals such as specialists for your continuous quality of care. You may access your medical records with your doctor as a consultation or you may request a copy where an administration fee of $55 will apply. All original medical records belong to the Practice.
If you would like a copy of our privacy statement, please ask the receptionist for one.
We are constantly striving to provide our patients with the best possible care and attention. If you have any problems, suggestions or complaints, we like to hear them. Please feel free to talk to the doctors or Practice Manager. There is a suggestion box for your feedback if you prefer to write to us. All concerns, suggestions and complaints are taken seriously. If you feel that you need to take the matter further and wish to discuss the matter outside the surgery, there are several options available. eg. NSW Medical Board (Ph: 9879 2200) or Health Care Complaint Commission (Ph: 1800 043 159) or Australian Commission on Safety & Quality in Health Care (Ph: 9263 3633).
